The English Game – E io che pensavo di odiare il calcio! ~ ☕☕☕☕

Buongiorno a tutti! Come state?

Nel caso non si fosse capito, io adoro le miniserie, e Netflix, come ha già ampiamente dimostrato, è in grado di produrne alcune davvero belline (Hollywood, Alias Grace, solo per citarne alcune). Da qualche tempo è uscita The English Game, che mi incuriosiva ma allo stesso tempo i calciatori sulla locandina… be’, diciamo che ero un po’ “meh”, visto che non sono una grande fan del gioco del calcio. Però era una serie di Julian Fellowes, creatore di quella magnifica serie che è Downton Abbey, quindi c’erano buone probabilità che mi piacesse, quindi… alla fine ho ceduto e ho realizzato che è proprio vero quel che si dice: meglio non giudicare un libro dalla copertina… o una serie dalla locandina.

Naturally, with a TV show like Medici: Masters of Florence it’s kind of impossible not to review it, even because of the “great expectations” (guess who I am quoting) and, most of all, the furious comments of American people who didn’t like the fact that the world premiere was ours (just joking, of course, you know we love you).
