Good evening, folks!
As you probably already know, this is the period during which we are finding out which shows will again see the light of the sun during next season and which ones are canceled.
Among the cancellation we find familiar names, of shows we loved but that have actually nothing left to say (such as Lucifer), shows that should have had an end seasons ago (any reference to Once upon a time is intended), shows that were doomed to be canceled since the very beginning, for better or worse (for example Life Sentence and The Brave), shows that seeing canceled breaks our hearts (Mozart in the Jungle), and a long list of illustrious unknown. Even Netflix has canceled some shows, reminding us that it is not so sure that “if it is a Netflix show it will definitely be renewed”.
Among the renewal, instead, we find names of shows we would never bet on (The Resident), names we are glad to see (The 100, Elementary, The Handmaid’s tale), names that filled our hearts with true joy (Speechless), names that make us astonished because we sincerely hoped to read them between the cancellations (yeah, I’m talking to you, Blindspot) and, in the end, there are those shows that, mostly, let us puzzled because we are starting wondering where they want to get at (DC’s The Flash and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., for example).
